Accounts Officer
We're seeking a reliable Accounts Officer to support our finance team with accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.
Join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Accounts Officer to support accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and cash management while contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting records and ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Handle taxation matters, including VAT compliance, statutory filings, and communication with local authorities.
Monitor cash flow and follow up on accounts receivable.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors, and creditors.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.
Assist in the implementation of projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
Support management in achieving company objectives and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
Identify operational issues and recommend improvements for the Accounts Department.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
Work Experience:
4 - 6 years’ experience in an accounts-related environment
Job-Specifics:
Knowledge of the accounting processes and procedures
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Fluency in English
PC literacy
